IIM-A compound wall, along Rambhai's kitli on 10th April 2011
After celebrating the success of our second project, we are gearing up for our next art initiation/experimentation/
On the !0th of April, the brick compound wall of IIM road will host ‘Memories on Strings’- a novel photographic exhibition (of sorts). Anybody and everybody is free to participate, to participate one is only expected to get a minimum of TEN A3 or A4 photographs of their memories and paper clips to hang them on the strings along the wall. The event will be launched at 7:00 pm, hence the participants are requested to come by at any point in the day from around 3:00 pm onwards and hang their exhibits.
We all are free to spread the word to as many people as possible. Any number of photographs can be put up by the participant. Also one is free to write their memories on or behind the photographs.
The novelty of this event is that once it is announced, all are free to take back any of the exhibited memories. This is essentially an exchange of memories….memories we all cease to value. So let's share memories to build new ones and we hope for your support and involvement.
Cheers!
Bansari, Nisha & Awni
